Unofficial Steam App For Android Goes Out On The Market
It’s not produced by Android, but this is going to rock hard the Android Market and not only: IBF Programs has just released a Steam app for Android which makes possible for the Steam users to be the first ones to find out about the game sales game sales, and also to make a summary of their Steam profile. Moreover, the users are also offered the possibility to keep up with their friends and groups from the website and even view stats of every game in part they have ever played online using the above service.
Still, the main lack of this app is that it does not allow its users to play games online via Stream, even if its built especially for this service. However, it’s creators have declared that if this app will have success, they will try to find a solution to allow their users and clients to play games. The main problem, though, is that most of the smartphones don’t meet the necessary requirements to play games, and also, it’s therefore, it’s kind of impossible for them to connect to the online games platforms and not seriously lag the other players.
As well, it’s important to know that this app is compatible with all the major Android versions, including the 2.2 Froyo version, but also the 4.0 version called Ice Cream Sandwich.
Finally, there is one more thing that needs to be said: you definitely need a Stream account to be able to access and use this application. Otherwise, you won’t be able to do too much with it.
And yes, the Android Steam app can be downloaded for free from HERE. So, grab it while it’s still hot and free, as we do not know IBF’s Programs intentions towards this software.
