Resco Pocket Radio

Resco Pocket Radio
is an interesting audio player providing streaming for duzins of internet radio stations. If you enjoy listening internet radio on your handheld, Resco Radio is a must-have! The quality of the sound is astonishing, as the program uses two of the best audio formats- MP3 and OGG, and the playing process provides comfortable experience, even if you have a weaker internet connection. In other words, Resco Radio tries ( and succeeds) to always provide you a good gapless playback.

By default, the program offers you a generous list of some of the most popular radio stations, such as SKY FM, Digitally Imported, 1.FM or HitzRadio. You can choose to extend this list by using music genre criteria, which I find very useful; you can also import other radio streams using easy radio. Regarding the UI (user interface), this app looks good and is generally finger-friendly; for instance, you can set 9 favourite radio stations on the dedicated big buttons from the main screen, which is a good tap-and-tune feature.

Note that this program requires a direct internet connection (apn internet via edge/3G/HSDPA or wifi) and  unfortunately does not support proxies.
