Many of you probably wanted to ask this question at least once: can I connect my PC to the internet through the an Android Phone’s GPRS/EDGE connection?

The answer is yes and it’s pretty simple. Some clever guy came up with this really cool Android software, called PdaNet. PdaNet needs to be installed on your PC and on your Android Phone, after that it allows you to connect the PC to your phone’s GPRS/EDGE network.

This is pretty cool, as specially for those of you who travel a lot. When you’re on a train ride, you can always pull your laptop out and start browsing internet pages, reading news and writing emails.

Some while ago we were reviewing VS Painter, a drawing app for Windows Mobile which allows you to create incredible drawings and virtual paintings on your touch phone: see the some of the drawings I did this year, in March. Autodesk SketchBook brings the same features to Android.

In order to function properly, this software requires multi-touch phone featuring Android 2.1 (or above), a 1GHz processor (it might work not so fast on smaller CPU) and 512mb RAM. The maximum drawing size is 1024×768. I find that impressing! It means you can create a wallpaper for your desktop PC.

SketchBook Mobile incites the artist within a person to reveal itself. 47 preset brushes encourage you to unleash your creativity and cast your thoughts into a drawing.

Until now Seesmic was one of the leading Twitter Clients for Android, yet there were circulating many opinions sustaining that Seesmic is no real competition for  TweetDeck and Twitdroid. Guess what, today the developers just released Seesmic 1.5 which comes with a brand new, joyful interface.

Not even a full month passed since the official release of Windows Phone 7 and yet, the Windows Phone market features 3000 apps. That’s pretty impressive if you ask me. One of the newest apps on the market is SKB Group SMS.

SKB Group SMS isn’t rich in features and hasn’t got any superpowers either. But I wanted to present it to you, since it’s currently the only Windows Phone app that does one very important, simple thing: through this application you can create contact groups and send mass SMS to certain people or groups of people. Keep my advice in mind and install this app on your Windows Phone 7! The holidays are close and what can be more pleasant, than to compose a sweet, sincere Christmas or Happy New Year message and mass mail it to all your friends?

SKB Group SMS can be purchased for 17,99$, a pretty high price. But think at all the SMS you have to send for Christmas. Maybe this app is worth the money for you.

Resco Pocket Radio is an interesting audio player providing streaming for duzins of internet radio stations. If you enjoy listening internet radio on your handheld, Resco Radio is a must-have! The quality of the sound is astonishing, as the program uses two of the best audio formats- MP3 and OGG, and the playing process provides comfortable experience, even if you have a weaker internet connection.
