If you were looking for an easy and free way to share files between more Android devices, SPRiiD is an app that will surely catch your interest. SPRiiD is free and it does not require any extra transfer costs. Its interface is extremely quick. The Android phones you want to use in the transfer need to have both their Wi-Fi turned on. Nowadays almost all Android devices have a Wi-Fi receiver, yet if your phone’s Wi-Fi isn’t working, you can still transfer files through a 3G connection. In this case you should note that file transfer generates internet traffic unless you have a 3G flatrate, the traffic will be billed by your mobile internet provider.

But as I already said: normally there’s no need to use the 3G connection, since almost all present phones have a Wi-Fi Adapter. SPRiiD lets you share any file from your SD card with SPRiid users from all across the globe.

o2 have just announced on their block the release of the My 02 App for Android. Thanks to it, you no longer need to dial a certain number to access info regarding your o2 mobile account. Sometimes I’m browsing through the Android App Market and stumble over some of the most incredible apps. The Police Radio Scanner for Android totally captured my attention, since I had no idea that you can listen to the police radio through an Android phone. Many of you probably wanted to ask this question at least once: can I connect my PC to the internet through the an Android Phone’s GPRS/EDGE connection?

Android Assistant is a free Android app which consists of 12 easy accessible features through which you can manange and change some of the most important settings in your Android. Withing this application we found and tested very useful functions such as an app killing tool, a cpu mananger and many more. Below are are 12 features ~ I like to regard these as 12 reasons why you should get Android Assistant.

1. Monitoring status(cpu, memory, battery) – you can now exactly what resources your phone is consuming and how much battery you have left. Right below the monitor you find the “Quick Boost” button, which will automatically kill unnecessary apps and free some of your phones resources.
