Opera Mini – a better web browser for Android?

I’ve been having more and more chats with my friends, where they tell me that the Opera Mini browser is working a lot better than the preinstalled Android browser. I haven’t got a chance to test it, since I’ve been pretty happy with the Android web browser. Nevertheless my friends made me curious and I am installing Opera Mini right now and during this time I would like to know your opinion: have you tested Opera Mini out? Is it faster, quicker and… better?

I’ve noticed my browser has been loading pages extremely slow since I switched from a 3G connection to a GPRS connection. Some say Opera Mini might speed up the loading time a little. But for now everything is just a rumor, let us know what you think!
